What Is MCC NEET SS Counselling?

Step-by-Step MCC NEET SS Registration

Step 1: Visit MCC Portal

Go to mcc.nic.in and click "NEET SS Counselling 2026"

Step 2: New Registration

• Enter your NEET SS 2026 roll number
• Provide personal details (name, DOB, father's name)
• Enter valid email and mobile number
• Create a password

Step 3: Payment

Pay the non-refundable registration fee plus refundable security deposit:

• General: ₹1,000 + ₹20,000 security
• OBC: ₹1,000 + ₹20,000 security
• SC/ST: ₹750 + ₹10,000 security

Step 4: Document Upload

Upload scanned copies of:

• NEET SS scorecard
• MBBS and MD/MS degree certificates
• Internship completion certificate
• Medical registration certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Choice Filling

Select your preferred courses and institutes. You can select up to 100 choices.

Step 6: Lock Choices

Choices must be locked before the deadline. Unlocked choices will not be considered.

Tier 2: Top Government Institutes

• Top state medical colleges (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai)
• Central university medical colleges

Tier 3: Other Government Institutes

• ESIC medical colleges
• Other central government hospitals

Tier 4: Deemed Universities

• Only if higher preferences are not possible

Seat Allotment Logic

MCC uses a computer-based allotment system:

1. Candidates are ranked by NEET SS score
2. Higher-ranked candidates get their first preference
3. Category reservations are applied (OBC 27%, SC 15%, ST 7.5%, EWS 10%, PwD 4%)
4. Allotment is done round-wise

After Seat Allotment

If you get a seat:

1. Download the allotment letter
2. Report to the allotted institute within the given timeframe
3. Carry original documents for verification
4. Pay the institute fees

If you want upgradation:

1. Accept the seat and register for Round 2
2. If upgraded, your previous seat is automatically released
3. Note: Security deposit may be forfeited if you resign after reporting
