Important Rule
Only those candidates who currently do not have a seat in any college can participate. If you have joined a seat in the Mop-Up round, you cannot participate in Stray Vacancy (even if you resign).

Stray Vacancy Round Registration Process
Step 1: Notification
Check the stray vacancy notification on the MCC website and college websites.
Step 2: Check Vacant Seats
The list of college-wise vacant seats is released. This list is available on both the college and MCC websites.
Step 3: Apply to Colleges
Instead of filling choices on a portal like regular counselling, you must apply directly to colleges. The rules may be different for each college.
Step 4: Document Submission
Submit documents to the college. Some colleges give the option to apply online, others require offline submission.
Step 5: Merit List
The college releases its own merit list. The merit list will be based on your NEET rank.
Step 6: Admission
If your name appears on the merit list, take admission in the college and pay the fees.
