NEET PG 2026 Counselling — An Overview
NEET PG counselling is the centralised admission process for postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS/Diploma) across India. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota seats, while state authorities manage the remaining state quota seats.
The NEET PG 2026 counselling process will be conducted online through the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in. Candidates who qualify in the NEET PG 2026 examination are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

NEET PG 2026 Registration Process
The NEET PG 2026 counselling registration involves the following steps:
- Registration: Visit mcc.nic.in and register with your NEET PG roll number and other details.
- Payment of Registration Fee: Pay the non-refundable registration fee based on your category.
- Choice Filling & Locking: Select your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Lock your choices before the deadline.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on your NEET PG rank, category, choices, and seat availability.
- Document Verification: Upload required documents for verification.
- Reporting: Report to the allotted college for admission confirmation.
NEET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.
- Must have completed or be completing the compulsory rotatory internship by the specified date.
- Must have permanent or provisional registration with NMC/MCI/State Medical Council.
- Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 with the minimum required percentile for their category.
