NRI quota is not just for MBA, it is also for MBBS. If you or your parents are NRI (Non-Resident Indian), you can take MBBS admission through NRI quota. Fees are higher in this quota, but the cutoff is also relatively low.

What is NRI Quota?

NRI quota is a category of reserved seats in medical colleges. Private medical colleges, deemed universities, and some government colleges also keep NRI quota seats. Usually 15-20% of seats are reserved for NRI quota.

The first step is to take the NEET exam. NEET is mandatory for NRI quota seats too.
